I have earned 5 fitness certifications (and I’m signed up to get two more this year), yet when I go to the gym, I like someone else to tell me what to do.
I could literally run a gym and teach all of the classes myself, but it feels better to follow someone else.
When it comes to the things in life we may have a little resistance around (like exercise and money, for example), we can tend to fall off track if we don’t have a guide.
I recently asked people what they struggle with most when it comes to money. You know what one of the number one answers was? Staying consistent.
Ain’t it the truth. Ask anyone what they struggle with the most regarding anything, and chances are pretty good they’ll tell you that they tend to fall of the wagon.
When I think about the times I did NOT fall of the wagon in my life, it was when I was following some sort of a program. As much as I’m a leader and have learned a lot of things, it feels great when someone else who has some degree of mastery tells me what to do in an area where I struggle.
While I would never recommend blind adherence, following a program allows us to:
To help us all get back on the #MoneyLove wagon (if we’ve fallen off) or to hop on it in the first place, I’ve created a 21-Day #MoneyLoveChallenge.
Staring January 14th and ending February 3rd, you’ll receive an email every day from me. Inside will be a short video (3 minutes or less) plus a few lines of text describing your daily action step toward falling in love with your finances.
Each action step is designed to be done in about 5 minutes or less, and if you do each of them, you will most certainly attract at least one financial miracle in your life.
The challenge is free, and you can sign up anytime between January 14th and February 3rd.
I’ll be following right along with you because even though I created this program, I can always use more #MoneyLove in my life, too! We’ll be falling in love with our finances together.
Each day I’m encouraging you to share your action item on Instagram, Facebook, and/or Twitter using #MoneyLoveChallenge.
For 21 days I’m going to tell you (and myself) what to do to create a more loving relationship with your money.
All you need to do is relax, do the daily action, and enjoy the expansion of abundance in your life.
The challenge is simply my gift to you so we can all get on track with our money and make 2015 our most abundant year yet. I’m not going to pitch a course or a program at the end. It’s just free #MoneyLove.
And, abundance loves company, so forward this email to a friend who you think would like to hop on the #MoneyLove train and use the social media posts below to spread the news.
I’ll see you January 14th for the first day of the challenge!
Do you also find that you sometimes like to be told what to do? In what area of your life, specifically? Why do you think that is? Share a comment below – I’d love to hear what you have to say!
