Growing up, we had a huge compost bin in our front yard that was always overflowing and attracted the neighborhood dogs.
Eeew.
It was a landscaping statement, for sure.
But it also became a psychic centerpiece that shaped my relationship to failure in a way that’s helped me move on relatively quickly when things don’t go the way I want.
Have you ever gotten thrown off course by something not turning out the way you wanted, especially when you gave it your all?
And did it ever end up stalling you out for longer than optimal because you were in a spin of beating yourself up or feeling bad about yourself?
If so, my friend, I’ve got a concept borrowed from my ongoing love affair with regenerative agriculture that’s gonna help.
So, how do I get back going after failure?
It’s all about composting and knowing how to use what didn’t turn out the way you wanted to fertilize new growth.
I recorded a Plenty episode about how to use this concept in your life and work that’s really been landing with folks in our community.
Xo,
Kate
