“I’m in hell. I feel like I’m losing my mind.”
I pressed send at 5:30am from my hospital bed with my newborn attempting to latch onto my raw nipple, and within 1 minute my phone was ringing. Thank God she was there.
My girlfriends are my foundation. They are the reason I can say that I’m thriving. They are my sanity.
Being able to text my friends who are also moms with businesses at all hours of the day and night is why I’m not in the psych ward. I’m not kidding. It was a little touch-and-go there at the beginning. (I now understand what is meant by the term “postpartum psychosis.”)
I created Origin™ because I want every woman to experience the kind of support and community I’ve been so blessed to have. It’s what all of my friends need the most. It’s what I need the most.
I’ve met many of my dearest friends online through courses we’ve taken and Facebook groups we’re in. It’s so amazing how the digital world can bring us so much closer together and make it so much easier to find our tribe.
It takes a village to raise a child, it takes a village to care for a mother, and it takes a village to get a business off the ground and thriving.
Origin™ can be that village for you. It has already become that for our 100 beta members and the women who’ve joined since we’ve opened our doors to the public.
Loneliness is one of the things that plagues mothers the most and that plagues entrepreneurs the most.
Origin™ is here to connect you to an international community of women who get it about the unique challenges and opportunities of raising a family while running a business.
But it’s not only a community. It’s also life-changing, weekly content that gives you the strategies, insight, and inspiration you need to grow and thrive.
Then, you get to implement the strategies and insights in your business and life and ask questions, share your successes, and get support within the community.
You don’t have to do this alone anymore. We’re here doing this motherhood and entrepreneurship thing together in Origin™.
See you inside the community!
All my love,
P.S. We had a woman join one of our programs from Nebraska because she said that Mike and I are the only people she knows who run their own business. I’m so glad she found us and then, through us, connected with an entire tribe of other people charting their own path. If you, too, aren’t feeling like you have enough of a tribe to support you in mothering and business, Origin™ can fill that need for you. The doors close for enrollment on Friday so get yourself signed up now for only $30.
