Hey beautiful freedom seeker!

I’m so excited to announce that my first bestselling book (yes, there will be more -they’re in percolation mode at the moment), Money: A Love Story, is now available as an audiobook!

It’s narrated by yours truly and includes updated material that’s not in the original print version.

It was quite a trip to sit in a dark, hot recording studio and read words that I wrote in 2012 aloud.  I was reminded how important it is to take a close, loving look at our money stories in order to live lives of freedom.

I don’t care who you are. If you don’t address your money baggage, it will hold you back at some point in your life.

Why? Because money is made up. We humans created it to have a system of currency that we could trade for stuff we value. Money, then, is simply a stand-in for the things that we value.

Our entire lives are guided by what we value, or what matters to us. Therefore, we can’t avoid dealing with money. We may as well make it a source of joy instead of a source of stress.

Money: A Love Story holds your hand as you journey through addressing your money baggage. We all have it. Nothing to be ashamed of. The book is kind, lively, and loving.

I’ve realized that part of what I’m here on earth to do is bring lightness to topics that are typically heavy and dark. Money: A Love Story lightens the money conversation so you can pay off your debt, make more money, more artfully manage the money you have, and overall feel more free when it comes to your finances.

Money: A Love Story by @katenorthrup is now available on audio! Listen up and transform your relationship with money! {Tweet it!}

Here’s what some of my favorite powerhouses have to say about the book:

Stop letting money matters be a source of pain in your life.
Read Money: A Love Story and allow Kate Northrup to become your new best friend as she guides you, step-by-step, down the financial freedom trail. Her fresh, creative approach to handling money is sure to leave you feeling empowered and eager to build the wealth you deserve. I loved this book!

I wish I had this book long ago. I can only image how much grief I would have spared myself. But as Kate reminds us, it’s all part of the spiritual journey to freedom abundance. This is the first book about finances (and life!) that I can actually relate to. Refreshingly candid, uplifting and practical, Money: A Love Story addresses what holds us back from healing and thriving both personally and financially. Thank you, brilliant Kate Northrup. I am deeply in love with the road map you’ve given us all.

Money: A Love Story is a beautiful and insightful guide to finding true prosperity from the inside out.

~Marie Forleo
Entrepreneur and creator of B-School

If I had this kind of freedom-focused guidance when I first got going, I’d have saved myself a lot of suffering… and a lot more cash. Kate’s take on money is grounded, fresh, and womanly wise.

I totally agree, money is made up and is ment as a means of exchange. We ALL should have an adequate stipend to live on , no strings attached. Jobs come and go, as do costumers for our own businesses , so why do so few people control the world’s money supply? I have given this much thought and it really makes no sense. The excuses that have always been given are hollow. No one should loose everything for lack of financial income.
Love your writing, and your Mom’s too. I’m 67 and a long time fan of ‘Law of Attraction’.

I’m so excited to hear this! I’m skipping! Busy single mom here who home educates my children. As you can imagine most of my sit down reading time is related to teaching. I do better with audio books for personal growth & fulfillment. I can listen over & over until the words become like my own thoughts. Big Bonus is it makes laundry & housekeeping enjoyable. My body is busy with the mundane but my mind is being challenged. I haven’t gotten through the book but now, I will. Much thanks & appreciation!
