Transformation Can Happen So Fast

We’re just back from a seriously beautiful (and deliciously exhausting) trip to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and this funny thing happened within 10 minutes of setting foot in Hogsmeade…

We were on the ride inside Hogwarts Castle and in it, the characters refer to the riders as “Muggles.”

(That’s Harry Potter speak for non-magical beings/humans.)

Even though I was on a ride in a pretend world with characters talking on an augmented reality screen, my automatic reaction was:

“Oh no. I’m not a muggle. That doesn’t apply to me. I’m magical, just like everyone else at Hogwarts.”

😂😂😂

When it comes to our relationship with money, our automatic identity (like mine as magical) is the most important factor that determines our financial reality.

Wanna learn one simple step you can take today so that magic and relaxed money become your reality, too?

Our identities (which are combinations of our sense of who we are internally, as part of a social group, and how others see us) are wired into our brains and bodies beginning in childhood.

How we identify determines our behavior.

If I identify as magical, I’m gonna say yes when a dear friend asks me to help her manifest a great renter for her second home. (True story. This happened yesterday. I found her a potential renter within 4 hours.)

How did I do this?

Our brains are sifting 400 billion total signals or individual stimuli per second. Our unconscious can only process 2,000 signals per second.

And guess how many signals or stimuli our conscious brain can be aware of at any given moment?

40. That’s it.

In terms of cognitive thoughts? We can only process 7 per second.

(Source: People vs. The State of Illusion via the Neurosomatic Intelligence Certification.)

What determines the criteria through which our brains sort and sift the 400B pieces of information available at any given second?

In large part, our identity.

The information and opportunities that are a match for our identities are considered salient, or important.

Our brain automatically filters out the unimportant and brings the salient stuff to our conscious cognition.

I identify as a magical manifester. So, out of all the stimuli available in my world (400B items per second), my brain was easily able to pull a renter out of the mix for my friend.

(Next week, we’ll talk about nervous system regulation and how it’s the secret sauce when it comes to this process of sifting and sorting.)

How do you identify as it relates to your money?

Disorganized?

A magical money magnet?

Not good with money?

Good at earning but not good at keeping it?

Your money identity is wired into your brain and nervous system and is determining your financial reality. Period.

Wanna change it?

You’re in the right place.

Step one:

Write down how you identify with money now.
Notice the thoughts that you think, the words you say, and the behaviors you repeat when it comes to money.

Write them down.

Bring your awareness to your current money identity.

The great news is we can change our identity at any time, thanks to the magical truth of neuroplasticity.

And when we change our identity, our reality shifts automatically.

But it’s not a head trip. That’s where most folks get this wrong.

When you learn how to work with your body, you can rewire your identity so much more quickly, effectively, and permanently.

If you’ve ever tried to just change your thoughts or repay affirmations and your money life didn’t shift, don’t worry.

There’s nothing wrong with you.

There was just a piece missing.

And next week, we’ll get into how to add the missing piece to 10X your identity rewiring results.

Stay tuned!
