This practice led to our first 7-figure year

I’ll never forget it.

I was tracing the bottom of the little plastic cup the flight attendant had handed me full of water and cylindrical airplane ice with a whole through the middle.

One, two, three, then four times as a kind of quadruple Ven Diagram emerged on the cocktail napkin.

I didn’t know what I wanted to draw ahead of time. My hands were being moved and something was coming through me but hadn’t originated in my mind. It was from somewhere else entirely.

You ever have one of those ideas that won’t leave you alone? It beckons you to think about it, talk about it, read about it, and Google it and seeps into all of your waking and sleeping hours?

That’s what was happening to me and the topic was time and cycles.

My previously held constructs of what time was and how to best relate to it and even the idea of managing it were dissolving before my eyes.

And what was emerging in their place was so primal and felt so true (almost obvious) that part of me was surprised it had taken me until my early 30’s to remember.

The new (and simultaneously ancient) understanding of time I was just beginning to embrace took over my life and business that winter in the most stunning way.

It led to:

  • Our first 7-figure year
  • The birth of a monthly recurring revenue model that brought abundance and financial stability during some very difficult years
  • The publication of my second book, Do Less
  • The creation of the Do Less Planner, which went on to be recommended by Oprah Daily, among others

Remembering the truth about time became the basis for the Do Less Planner and now thousands around the world have used the practices within it’s pages to heal their relationship with time (and get more done while doing less) too!

Here are the elements of the planner that you won’t find in other planners:

1. The Universe’s To Do List

One of the most critical things we have to stop doing if we want more flow and ease in our lives is thinking that if it’s gonna happen, we have to do it. With 8 billion people on the planet and scads of support, both seen and unseen, nothing could be further from the truth.

The Weekly Planning Spread in the Do Less Planner includes The Universe’s To Do List. I make a list for the Universe every week before I make my own To Do List and it does two things that are critical to my success: One: It helps me feel immediately relaxed and supported which opens up my creative channel for my best work. Two: It activates all of the seen and unseen support that’s available and sh*t gets handled without me needing to orchestrate it personally.

The number of miracles that have ensued from delegating things to The Universe are more than I can count.

2. A Weekly To Do List

We massively over-estimate the amount we can do in a day and when we put it all on a list, overwhelm tends to set in when we read it and then we stall out because we become dysregulated and end up in a sympathetic nervous system response of fight, flight, freeze, or fawn.

That’s why the Do Less Planner has a place for a Weekly To Do List. Zooming out allows you to get clear on the priorities for the week and right-size your tasks for the week. I never used to finish my daily to do list but I finish my weekly one nine times out of ten. And re-writing a few items on the list for next week doesn’t waste nearly as much time as re-writing items on the next day’s list every single day.

3. Focus Your Week Based on Your Menstrual Cycle and/or The Lunar Cycle

When you know what kind of energy you’ve got based on which phase of the Menstrual Cycle you’re in or which phase the moon is in, you can work with your body and energy instead of against it.

The result? You get a lot more done in a lot less time. The Do Less Planner prompts you to identify where you are each week so you can craft your week to support your body and your energy. And then your body and your energy supports your to do list, in turn!

4. Moon Pages

Every month we have an opportunity to plant new seeds of desire with the energy of the New Moon and let go of what we no longer need on the Full Moon.

The Do Less Planner comes with 13 Moon Pages (one for every Lunar Cycle of the year) to honor every New and Full Moon during the year.

5. Daily Energy Tracker

Your cyclical energy is your superpower. When you track what’s going on with your energy every day (physically, emotionally, mentally, sexualy, and more) you get invaluable insights about what you need every day so you can give it to yourself and unlock untapped energy reserves. Plus, it helps you to track trends over time so that you can start planning ahead to support your energy over the course of the month based on having paid loving attention to yourself over the past months.

Our relationship with time is way more than what we put on our schedule.

When we treat it with reverence and love and infuse our schedules with deep reverence for our bodies and cycles, we end up having more than enough time and energy for everything that matters.

The physical Do Less Planner is going to be 40% off starting Black Friday through Cyber Monday so you can dive into the life-giving practices it offers.

Keep an eye on your inbox Friday morning for the special 40% off code to use at checkout.

As the wonderful Gay Hendricks, author of The Big Leap, says:

“I am the source of time.”

When you shift the way you relate to time, this truth becomes your reality and suddenly anything is possible!

Love,
Kate
