Secrets About Sacred Women + Money That Have Been Kept From You

I’m probably gonna get some folks’ panties in a bunch with this email.

But women’s (and all conscious humans’) financial well-being depends on understanding this, so…here goes.

This first part probably isn’t news to you:

There’s been a purposeful campaign over the past several thousand years to strip women of their power, including their potential for financial power.

This second part might be new, though:

Religious programming (that’s seeped into many parts of our culture that are no longer relegated to churches or temples) has conditioned so many people to falsely believe that it’s more spiritual/ Godly/ virtuous to be poor.

And you know who benefited? The religious leaders who wanted to keep the power and money for themselves.

What’s a good way to ensure that people are controllable?

Convince them that having fewer resources makes them more holy and that they have to go through the church leaders to access God.
And you know who’s most impacted by this kind of brainwashing around virtuousness being paired with lack? Women!

Why? Because we’re also simultaneously conditioned that “being a good woman” (whatever that means) is the most important thing we could possibly be.

It’s no wonder that so many women struggle with their desires, specifically financial ones, because wanting financial abundance is in direct conflict with the belief (conscious or otherwise) that there’s something inherently holy about not having resources.

I recently had a conversation about the history of women, the sacred, and money that completely and totally blew my mind and challenged the aforementioned programming that still has small slivers tucked into the deeper nooks and crannies of my psyche/ nervous system.

One of my favorite women on earth also happens to be one of my best friends. She’s an ordained Priestess for a living. She’s unabashed. She’s inappropriate. Some would even call her unhinged.

She joined me on Plenty and the show is live this week!

This episode is a MUST listen if:

  • You have any “good girl” conditioning
  • You have any conditioning around it being more virtuous to have less financial resources
  • You have any religious or cultural programming that’s taught you that your body is dirty, wrong, or something to be ashamed of
  • You want to unlock the formerly hidden history of the sacred, wealthy, sovereign women who modern history as its being taught “forgot”
  • You’re ready to unlock your sacredness and your abundance and let the two enhance one another
Listen in to Plenty with Sarah Jenks!

I’m SO excited for you to dig into this episode. Listen for the part where I couldn’t speak because I was so moved by what Sarah was revealing. Tag me on Instagram and let me know how it lands with you!

Kate
