This is the first week of a brand new year. Possibilities abound. Fresh, blank pages await you. Your story of 2016 has yet to be written.

What do you most want to create/manifest/attract this year?

Whatever it is (new job, new relationship, vibrant health, a loving community, a new home, creative expression), having the financial resources to support your dreams helps a lot.

Everyone I’ve ever met has a few (or a lot of) screws loose when it comes to money. But everyone also has the ability to change their relationship with money from one of fear and scarcity to one of love and abundance.

Are you ready to create a loving relationship with your money in 2016?

I interviewed 50 authors, speakers, and other thought-leaders about their relationships with money. I wanted to know the nitty-gritty, behind-the-scenes stories of the people I most admire.

Not one of them was born with a silver spoon in his/her mouth. Not one escaped the school of hard knocks when it came to money. I found this heartening, and I know you will, too.

    I am in a bad cycle of payday loans…slowly paying them off! I have taken on extra work, but no down time and time for myself. I have now been sick for 3 weeks and my doctor and best friend say I should give up one of my extra night jobs. Deep down I know they are right because as Oprah says “the universe first whispers to you.” I heard the whispers and ignored them. I also know why…it is fear based. I am afraid of losing that extra income that I have come to depend on and really need. I would appreciate any thoughts or advice you may have. Thank you!

    Dear Kate, dear all.
    My wish for 2016 is, to have “financial easiness”. No more worries, no more fearfulness, no more patience in waiting for the bill to be paid. I want money easy to come, to pay my bills as easy.
    Would be perfect in a year, where I will run my own agency for 20 years.

    I am really getting disappointed in trying to access your website. The most recent example is attempting to download your Moneylove Planner. It has been “processing” for 5 minutes now for the 3rd time!

    I wonder just how much business you have lost due to a website not functioning properly. Very frustrating.

    My One Word for the year is “Connection”. This is my third year of choosing one word for the year, rather than writing another list, with the same old New Year’s Resolutions. I find that it makes it so much easier to really stick to my core intention. Choosing just one word is tricky for me, it’s not easy, and each time I’ve chosen my word, I’ve second guessed myself…”really, I’m gonna choose that word for the whole year above all others”, but it’s absolutely magical how the word that comes to you is the right word…you just have to trust it. Right after choosing my first One Word, I really doubted it, and as I was driving to an appointment right after choosing it, a huge crane was parked by a building with a great big sign with my word on it! A wink from the universe! The next year, I chose my word, and it wasn’t until about November that I had a profound awakening about a shift that I needed to make in an area that I longed to be my best self. That word was the answer. This year, I’ve already had so many confirmations/winks since choosing my word…it feels so good. I’m so happy that you are sharing the power of doing this little exercise, with your tribe!

    What I most want to manifest for 2016 includes publishing my first romance novel and continuing to grow my wonderful love affair with my wonderful boyfriend by getting married this year. I also want to get pregnant.

    Hi Kate,

    What a beautiful initiative, I am really looking forward to this series. My word for this year is CHANGE. I feel I have been in “stuckville” for a couple of years now, both in my job and in my marriage. I have been bubbling along gathering information, working on myself and this year is the year to make the changes. I don’t think it is going to be easy, but I don’t think I can stay stuck for much longer I am at the point that it will be more painful to stay stuck than it will be to move. I think I need another word “COURAGE” haha.

    My 2016 words are Liberation and Adventure! I’m single for the first time in my adult life (at the ripe old age of 32) and am cleaning up house in the areas of my life that need updating – mostly self-limiting beliefs and doubts, but also clearing up my literal house too :) My intention for this year is to find a job that I enjoy, where I feel of service, and that financially supports me to be able to pay off debt and TRAVEL!!! Just signed up for the #MoneyLove Challenge and am excited to use it as a support to my intention for this year. Thanks, Kate!

    Hello Kate,
    My word for this year is Time, it’s time to love money not worry about
    it. It’s time I made a plan so I can have time to be creative. I have tried for a number years to push myself out of the cycle but I still end up right where I started. So this Time it’s going to be different.
