From food stamps to magic wands: Glimpse TV with Michelle Phillips

Michelle and I at Hay House I Can Do It Event

I met the gorgeous and inspiring Michelle Phillips at the Hay House Movers & Shakers workshop in Boston in April of 2010. After one lunch we both felt like we had known each other for years. Michelle and I have since become buds and she’s also joined Team Northrup because her message is about inner beauty. Michelle has been a celebrity makeup artist for years and learned a lot about how women think and feel about themselves…and how sad a state many of them are in…during those years. She won the Movers & Shakers video contest and is launching her Hay House Radio show on Monday, January 17th at 12pm EST, The Beauty Blueprint! I’m so honored to be one of her first guest on the show on Monday so tune in to hear some pretty inspiring stories of women living life on their own terms and going after their dreams. Michelle’s book, The Beauty Blueprint, will also be out with Hay House in 2011.

On my recent trip to Tampa I got some time to hang out with Michelle and her family. We took some time to talk about Michelle’s amazing transformation from a history of losing herself in abuse and being on food stamps to feed her kids to her incredible life today as an author, coach, inspirational speaker, tv and radio personality, and glowing mother and wife. Michelle is quite a lady. Enjoy the episode!

  • So many beautiful gems in this. So inspired, thank you for this beautiful episode. What a fantastic addition to Team Northrup.

I lost myself somewhere around 2 children and brought myself back by finding my passion and allowing myself to move into it authentically and with truth.

My work brings inner beauty. My patience brings inner beauty. My quiet times bring inner beauty. Connecting to joy brings inner beauty.

Thank you for this beautiful interview.

  • Just came across this interview, inspiring to see and hear, thank you! I think Im lost and found right now in my life. I am clear on what I want to create and do. 1) build a website selling gifts from around the world 2) produce a documentary based on 10 people from around the world that were sexually abused by a family member and are Thriving today. The joy is knowing I know now what I want to do, the fear is the how. I’m taking 1 day at a time, finding inspiration through video’s like and this believing that what’s meant for me wont pass me by.
Thank you for being out there,
    Tanya
