Coming on to the virtual scene back in 2014, Akilah Pitts initially made her mark as a Virtual Assistant for new female entrepreneurs. Her goal? To help them be able to do what matters most in their business. As she continued to expand her knowledge and expertise, she began to work with more established 6- and 7-figure entrepreneurs, providing support in a variety of areas including community care, general administration, email marketing, operations, and more. It was then that she began to develop her love for systems and automation

In June of 2016, Akilah decided to become an Ontraport Certified Consultant. This allowed her to be able to marry her love for systems and automation using this dynamic all-in-one platform. And, although her goal remains the same, she now specializes in working with Visionary Leaders who want to use Ontraport to automate their marketing, scale their business, and maximize their profits.

Fun facts about Akilah include that she’s a Kolbe 8-4-5-3, an ENFP, and a lover of plays and musical comedies. When she’s not knee-deep in Ontraport awesomeness, she is all about her family as she’s first and foremost a wife and stay-at-home mom of three - well, technically two, since her oldest is now in college. ;-)

Licia has been the biggest godsend to our company since she came on board a year ago. Not only is she our company President running the business day to day, she’s also a brilliant and soulful writer, a strong yet sensitive manager, a true business visionary, and a whiz at sales and marketing. She was one of the top sales people for Phil & Ted’s Strollers, helped launch a wildly successful direct-selling company, worked as a professional copywriter, authored a children’s book (with another one on the way), and is a retired psychic! (Oh, she also has a degree from Naropa University, and her grounding in mindfulness and Buddhism is a pretty awesome combo with her business savvy.) You’re going to freak out about how much business, life, and creative wisdom she packs into her session.

Joe brings a level of professionalism, attention to detail, and creativity to his role as Creative Director that is unmatched. (Plus he’s incredibly tech-savvy, and his skill set goes way beyond visual branding!) With over 10 years of experience, Joe has worked in the digital marketing space for start-ups, with a global agency, and with dozens of small business owners. What I love is the way he’s super committed to design choices that truly impact our desired results. So many designers stop at their work just looking good, but Joe goes the extra mile and ensures that it not only looks amazing, but that it does its job to drive conversions and sales. Joe is a rare breed, my friend, and you’re going to love his special brand of Long Island spice.

Lisa is one of the few people I’ve ever met who’s great at managing small details without losing sight of the big picture. She’s spent the past decade working in customer service and managing small online businesses and has planned and executed dozens of successful marketing campaigns, including two Amazon best-selling books. In her role as our Community Care Manager, she intuitively understands what our customers are experiencing, knows how to respond with solutions from the heart, and thus has helped us have remarkably low refund rates and above-average customer retention rates.

Plus, she’s friendly, creative (she’s a painter!), and a brilliant communicator with a sharp mind for organization. Learning how to court and keep customers and how to foster community are going to be huge highlights of this program. Remember: it takes way less money and energy to keep a customer you already have than to convert a new customer. So you’ll want to listen very closely to everything Lisa has to say. (She’s also a 2014 B-School Alum, so you’re in great company!)

Hayley Lachambre

Hayley hails from Vancouver (and I must say I just really have a thing for Canadians) and truly is the most organized person you’ll ever meet. Within a few short months of moving to Bali and starting her own business helping entrepreneurs manage their social media and other systems, she became profitable and had to turn clients away. And then we scooped her up full-time because that’s how good she is. Hayley sees a problem that needs to be solved, creates a system around it, solves it, and ensures it will never happen again in the amount of time it would take me to circle the drain a few times just before I find myself spacing out on Instagram because I’m too overwhelmed. She gets how to keep your business top of mind with your audience using social media, and she’ll give you her best strategies, holding nothing back when it comes to creating a social media calendar, using Facebook ads, and getting it all automated and systematized so it’s not a time-suck.

Jeff Kurtz

Hailing from New Jersey, Jeff was an actor and director for many years before landing in the tech world as a Product Manager for various start-ups and, more recently, Google. Jeff taught himself web design and development in college, and since then has learned everything from building Wordpress sites, to running paid marketing campaigns, to understanding online engagement and analytics, to creating different types of digital selling systems. Working with Kate and the team, Jeff manages paid advertising - creating and optimizing Facebook ads, analyzing marketing data, designing funnels, and thinking about customer acquisition and retention.
