Woooohooo!
I’m freshly off the Relaxed Money Live express, tucked into a corner of shade on my balcony, writing this Note to you while the kiddos finish up High School Musical 2.
We had 108 (hello God/dess) magical humans join us from around the world in Miami for 3 days of expansion, cross-pollination, healing, and love.
I’m so full in the best possible way. After eating a truly delicious farm-to-table meal, I savored every bite, chewed the appropriate amount of times, and indulged in all the flavors, but I had the perfect amount and plenty of time to digest before bed.
No bloating. No need to undo the top button of my pants. Just pure, delectable nutrients.
One thing that was different this year is that I got so much out of attending it even though I was hosting.
I received seven nuggets of wisdom from putting on the event and attending. I thought I’d pass them along to you because they’re universally applicable to expanding as a human being.
Here’s my 7 lessons from Relaxed Money Live:
1. Contraction is part of expansion, not a sign something is wrong.
The week leading up to Relaxed Money Live was ouchy. There were a bunch of moments when I thought: “Gah! I wish we weren’t doing this event. This is A LOT.”
But within 15 minutes of sitting down with our top affiliates for the bonus Mastermind we hosted for them the day before the big event began, I was so freaking happy.
Everything was in flow from that moment forward.
I’ve labored to 10cm with both of my babies and pushed one of them out my vagina, and the same lesson applies to anything worth creating as I learned in birth:
The moment after you think you can’t do it anymore, you’re holding your baby in your arms, and the love is infinite, and it’s all worth it.
You can’t bring anything into the world that’s big without a little (or a lot) of contraction.
2. Name what’s real for true connection.
I kicked off our Top Affiliate Mastermind by saying, “I feel really weird right now.” 😂 Those were literally my first words.
My dear friend Sarah Jenks immediately offered to drop us all in energetically, and I instantly felt more connected and present.
From there, the day was generative, rich, fun, and magical. Guaranteed millions will be made because of the ideas shared and cross-pollination in that room.
After I kicked off with the truth, several other women started their shares with, “What’s real is…”
Any pretense melted, and what remained was pure gold.
3. Get in the room.
It’s so hard to articulate via email, but the experience you have when you show up in person just cannot be recreated virtually.
The acceleration of healing, transformation, and expansion that happens when you step into a room of humans who are operating in love and possibility is worth all the airport security lines, delayed flights, weird sleep in hotel rooms, meals out, and missing our people at home.
Getting in the room is the single most effective quickening agent for your becoming.
4. Follow the yes.
One of our top affiliates shared she had no idea what exactly she was coming to when we invited her to our Affiliate Mastermind and the live event.
But she’d gotten a clear, full-body yes, and she trusted it.
She also shared that the Mastermind Day and Relaxed Money Live were way beyond what she’d imagined and she was so glad she’d trusted her yes.
How often do we miss out on what’s for us because our intellect and needing to know all the details gets in the way?
Our cognitive brains are such a minuscule part of our intelligence. More and more evidence is showing that the brain is located all through our bodies. Listening to your intuition makes it louder!
Follow the yes when it’s unequivocal, even if you don’t know why. Riches are always on the other side of a full body yes.
5. Life is a simulation.
One of our top affiliates, Jana Roemer, said the following during our Mastermind, and I can’t stop thinking about it:
“Life is a simulation that’s a complete reflection of our internal environment.”
From a neurobiological perspective, we are only cognitively aware of the people, information, and experiences that are a match for who we are inside.
Life can do nothing except mirror back who we are internally and what we expect.
That doesn’t mean other people are off the hook for their behavior or that we’ve created all the terrible things in the world.
But it does mean our response and what we’re even aware of is ONLY ever a reflection of our insides.
The most important thing we can ever do, then, is to remove all the blocks to the love that we are.
6. We are all channels if we let ourselves get out of the way.
I did something at Relaxed Money Live that I’ve never done before: I made an invitation to a premium offer from the stage.
Before I did, Sarah Jenks invited me to empty myself out and let my personality get out of the way to be a channel.
Sarah and my other dear friends Sarah Tacy and Aaron Rose held me in ceremony before I went on that morning and helped me open wider to let what wanted to come through me flow through.
What happened?
I had the freaking time of my life on stage making the most luscious invitation for those in the room who are ready to expand into what’s next with us.
It didn’t feel like I was doing anything, really. It was being done through me, and it was heaven.
7. Make the ask.
I used to make the mistake of assuming that if I were meant to do something, someone would invite me.
A couple of our speakers who brought the house down were on stage because they asked to be. If they hadn’t pitched me, I wouldn’t have invited them, and everyone would have missed out, including me.
Does that mean I say yes to every pitch? Of course not. But it never hurts to ask…especially if you put some love and creativity into your pitch.
When I was feeling nervous about making my invitation from the stage, I asked my friends to come backstage and circle around me to help me step into the version of me that was ready.
Sometimes, folks offer things without us asking, and that’s a beautiful thing. And sometimes we gotta ask, and that’s a beautiful thing, too!
Relaxed Money Live was an incredible ride, and I can’t wait to do it again next year!
Love,
Kate
