    This episode reminded me of my personal journey understanding the connection between food and mood in my late teens and twenties. In trying various meal plans to stabilize my system, I began reading and better understanding food labels. At the time I was taking a business law class and wrote a paper about food labeling – what’s required, what’s not and how misleading it all is. The FDA has its own definitions of “all-natural”, “healthy” etc. From the paper I wrote many years ago, I knew it was bad and the general public had no idea. Thanks to Vani for her continued commitment in the face of such conflict. She is exposing the truth light years beyond what I was able to learn from that research paper. I look forward to reading the book and passing it forward to those who need it more than me.
