I know exactly how that feels. I have always had friends from extremely differing social groups; the studious kids, the bad boys, the drama club, the orchestra folks- even now, at 33, I've still got a spoon in every social pot! On the rare occasion that I have a gathering and bring them all together, instead of paying attention to how vastly different all my favorite people are from each other, I look at them and see all the intricate, delicious, silly, dark, cartwheeling parts of myself, and feel whole.
